Online Keno Reviews:

From John S.

If you want to play a casino game that’s simple, fun and fair, keno is your best bet. The game is fun and simple and the fact that there are zero to little pop-up adverts end up adding to the fun element of the game. Almost any member of your family can start playing the game. There is zero to minimal learning curve.

From Michael D.

Keno is a fairly simple and fun game. For me the best thing about it is that it’s engaging and keeps my brain occupied when I don’t want to focus on anything else. In fact, if you are depressed and feeling bad about something, keno could temporarily pull you out of that mental agony.

1. How Does it Work?

Similar to EuroMillions, the players are expected to pick five primary numbers from the 1-50 number range, in addition to a couple of supplementary numbers, which are like the ‘lucky stars’ of EuroMillions. However, unlike lucky stars that could be from 1-11, EuroJackpot’s supplementary numbers could only be 1-10, resulting in better winning odds. This is among the stated EuroJackpot objectives, wherein more winners are sought – unlike the extremely big but rare payouts of EuroMillions, the US Powerball, and similar games.

Another highlight here is the increased chances of bagging lower-level prizes. The focus is not completely on the jackpot size. The six low-tier prizes have better odds than 1 out of 10,000 and pay up to £50. £10 is the lowest prize of them all.

2. Tickets and Prizes

The tickets are sold for £2 each, with players having to select five numbers from the 1-50 number range, along with a couple of supplementary Euronumbers from the 1-10 range. A play slip can be used for playing multiple lines and can choose five draws (maximum) beforehand. This rule, however, could vary across the participating nations. Also, there is the choice to auto-generate numbers by selecting the number of lines you would like to play and the number of draws.

Draws happen every Friday night at 9 pm EET, and are live-telecasted to the member countries from Helsinki. The standard deadline to claim the prize is 180 days. But this rule again could change across countries. Tickets can be bought until 7 pm on Friday.

As aforementioned, prizes are devised for regular wins, with the first prize (£10 – £90 million) almost guaranteed. Depending on the total number of players and odds, this should usually be won at least once every four weeks.
